DMCA Policy

1. Notification of Claimed Infringement

If you believe that content available on Aroo City infringes one or more of your copyrights, please submit a written notification ("DMCA Notice") to our designated copyright agent containing ALL of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notification.
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on our platform (URL preferred).
4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will process valid notices promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content.

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification containing ALL of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal or disabling.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Aroo City may be found.
6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA Notice or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain you from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity.

3. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Aroo City has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. Aroo City may also at its sole discretion limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

4. Accuracy of Claims

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or by Aroo City.
